As of January 1, 2020, a Florida notary public may receive authorization to perform notary services through remote means of communication.[1] Once approved, a notary public is able to perform notary functions[2] using an online service, which will allow, among other things, for parties and witnesses to participate in the notary process through an audio-visual communication service, to verify the identity of participants, and to execute digital documents using electronic signatures. Remote online notarization provides you with convenient access to a notary from the comfort and safety of your home or office without the need to travel. To help our clients and the public, Vera + Skiscim is pleased to offer remote online notary services. If you are in need of a notary, please contact us using the form below.
